Our Story

Crossway Menifee is a gathering of believers committed to meeting together to worship and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, grow in the Word of God, to encourage and exhort one another.

We have a commission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our community and make disciples until He returns. Our desire is to send people out into the community so that more people can meet Jesus, by preaching the gospel and caring for each other in their neighborhoods and cities. Through the church, people hear about Jesus, make Jesus their identity, worship Jesus, find community, and become part of Jesus' mission here on earth. We hope to see you soon on a Sunday morning!

Our Vision

We see Crossway Menifee as a church that positively impacts our city, our valley, our nation and our world through evangelism, discipling, leadership development, missions and church planting.

According to the Bible, our ministry must be anchored in and fueled by the gospel. The gospel is the good news that, in the person of Jesus Christ, God reached down to a sinful world and our trifold response to the gospel is a life lived reaching up, reaching in, and reaching out. Our goal is to bring glory to God by making disciples through Christ-centered worship, teaching, community and service.

Reaching Up (Loving God)
True worship is the acknowledgment of God and all His power and glory in everything we do. When we gather together for worship, we come in reaching up, seeking God. Worship is offered to God from the depths of our inner being in praise and prayer, in song, in giving, and in living, but always based upon His revealed truth. Our time spent in prayer, in worship and singing, and in the teaching and preaching of God's Word gives us the strength and nourishment we need to glorify Him throughout the week.
Reaching In (Loving One Another)
Through the various ministries of the church, it is our privilege and responsibility to be reaching in. God guides us to maturity, a practical, progressive holiness. That is, we must continually seek to minister the gospel to one another inside our fellowship by mutually supporting one another, teaching one another, encouraging one another, challenging one another, and edifying one another. God started the work of making us like Christ, and He is continuing it and will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
Reaching Out (Serving Others)
Christ commanded us to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth, to all unreached peoples (Matthew 28:19-20). Prior to Jesus' ascension in Acts 1:8, He told His disciples that they would be His witnesses "in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Therefore, it is our privilege and responsibility to minister God's gospel to those outside our fellowship by reaching out - in both spiritual (word) and physical (deed) ways - locally (Jerusalem), nationally (Judea and Samaria), and internationally (the ends of the earth), serving as salt and light to a fallen world in desperate need of the transforming power of the gospel (Matthew 5:13-16).

Crossway Leadership

The character and effectiveness of any church is directly connected to the quality of its leadership. That’s why Scripture stresses the importance of godly overseers and defines specific standards for evaluating those who would serve in that position. At Crossway, we are committed to the pattern established in the New Testament, and we thank the Lord for the qualified, capable men who provide pastoral and administrative oversight to our church family.
